likely unrelated, but this was the name of the very first BBS i was a member of and eventually co-sys'd in 1993 - we had a similar feeling logo!

That's both old school and awesome. The story behind this: Metal Edge was the name of my brothers 80's heavy metal band. And it shouldn't come as a surprise to know Motley Crue was his favorite band. This was used for t-shirts for his kids since they only know the 80's via movies. :)
